New Filter Feature on FF.net

Chao- The new filter feature they added--wow!

Agent Daisy- (prepares tranquilizer darts)

YChao- Why are you so excited? You were totally confused first looking at it.

Chao- It's just so odd; users can filter as they normally do, but now the website as added an Exception feature. Know what that means?!

Agent Daisy- (shrugs)

YChao- You can remove Romance?

Chao- Yep!

Agent Daisy- (blows party favor noise maker)

YChao- Pardon me for the cliché, but I do love to rain on your parade--

Chao- As someone who lives in the desert, it's always awesome when it rains! (gets blown away by monsoon)

Agent Daisy- (grabs rope) (lassoes Chao back)

Chao- Chao could fly!

YChao- Anyway, as I was saying, your idea doesn't work perfectly. There could still be pairings within the story with the authors seeing their stories falling more under different categories.

Chao- That is true.

YChao- And you probably won't see much in your direction.

Chao- Meh, that's ok. At least the website people are thinking about their users.

YChao- Is this really what you wanted to talk about for your weekly update?

Chao- Yes and no.

Agent Daisy- (prepares tranquilizer darts again)

Chao- There are some other things prepared, but they are planned to be published later. This was just something so exciting and stunning that Chao HAD to talk about.

YChao- You are one crazy author/blog writer.

Chao- Ok, random people who stop by, that's all for this month! Hope to see you in August! (gets blown away by monsoon again) AAAHHH!!!

  1. I honestly don't like the new filter. I mean, the exception feature is great, but did they really have to make it a new window? Couldn't they have left it at the top of the page? I use a netbook, and the filter window's dimensions are to large. I have to change my screen resolution so I get to the apply button because it doesn't show up otherwise.

Hopefully that's something they'll change soon.

    1. Chao- Ok, so somewhat scratch what had been typed up previously. The website people had been thinking about users, but not so much the devices we use. Maybe they are seeing how users react.
